Alex Munk, just looking around.

Toledo. We originally put it into the line up because it is only an hour from the airport in Madrid, and we thought it would be nicer to get to the airport from 1 hour out rather than 4.

But holy cow. Toledo is awesome. The big cathedral right above Zonut’s head, and to the right a little, is the one you see in the other pictures. It was so cool. I just love how these cities have narrow streets and tight neighborhoods that open up into enormous squares with enormous cathedrals.

On our way into town we asked a guy where we could get some breakfast. He walked a ways with us, pointed out a few areas we should visit, and took us to the place you see Zobo with chocolate all over her face. It turned out to be a great recommendation. That thing in her hand is a greasy churro. Churros con chocolate is considered breakfast food in Espana. So the churro is covered in chocolate. I like Spain.

The thing in my hand is a buttery croissant with chocolate in the middle. It was hot out of the oven, and really made me happy. I thought, as I walked down the street with my succulent breakfast dessert, that I ought to have a hot chocolate glazed donut for breakfast every now and then.
